The American Heart Association is always seeking professionals to conduct training in First Aid, CPR, AED and Advanced Cardiovascular Care. If you are like me, and passionate about saving lives, motivated to teach others and are comfortable speaking in a group setting, have had your CPR card for at least one year, sign up today and become a CPR Instructor. Prince George's Community College is now accepting Instructor Candidate Applications. Process: - Have a current CPR Card for one year; - Successfully complete the Instructor Essentials Course for the discipline for which you are becoming an Instructor, including both the online portion and the classroom/hands-on session. Bring the Certificate to the New Instructor Course. - Successfully be monitored assisting one and teaching one class within 6 months of completing the hands-on session of the Instructor Essentials Course. - All paperwork needed will be provided during the course.
